Enola Gay
Enola Gay is the name of the American B-29
Superfortress bomber that dropped - on August 6, 1945 - the first atomic bomb,
named Little Boy over Hiroshima.
The aircraft was named after the mother of the pilot Paul Tibbets. In 1995
a film titled 'Enola
Gay and the Atomic Bombing of Japan' was made on this first attack
with a nuclear bomb.
