  2. Was the flight of the Enola Gay of great historical interest to the U.S. government in 1945 ?

  3. Was the flight of the Enola Gay of great historical interest to the people of Hiroshima?

  4. Do you think this flight is of great historical interest?

Look at process for detailed instructions.

 Kokura's luck

Three days after the attack on Hiroshima, on August 9, there was a second flight with an atomic bomb. That second bomb, called Fat Man, was dropped on the Japanese city of Nagasaki. Actually, the target city was Kokura. But when the bomber Bockscar arrived over Kokura on August 9, 1945 , the city proved, however, overclouded. Because Major Charles Sweeney from Bockscar was briefed to bomb on sight, he choose the alternative target: Nagasaki.
