Dutch master  painter are brought together within more than 250 fully documented pages with hundreds of pertinent images. The site also  provides free of charge a newsletter which informs readers of Vermeer related exhibitions, books, articles, web sites as well as significant site additions and updates. 
• Girl with A Pearl Earring
  This site explores almost every facet of Johannes Vermeer's masterpiece, the Girl with a Pearl Earring now hanging in the Mauritshuis. Each of the more than 40 pages discusses one particular aspect of the work such as the young girl's identity, her pearl and her turban, the painting's history, provenance, signature, state of conservation, precedents, dating painting techniques and materials as well as scholarly interpretations. Every page is accompanied by pertinent images and links. As far as I know, there is no other such a study on the web of or in paper print which analyses the painting in such depth. The principle aim of the site is to provide as much valid information as possible regarding the work which is generally dispersed throughout a number of sources.
